About the Housekeeping Supervisor Position

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role is open to a Saudi National with 5-10 years of relevant experience, focusing on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within a luxury hospitality environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities such as the pool after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning schedules, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Support Housekeeping management in overseeing daily operations and activities.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts effectively between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.

Operational and Administrative Tasks

• Prepare, distribute, and communicate any changes in room assignments to the team.
• Communicate operational issues and updates to the subsequent shift.
• Complete all required administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
• Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets.

Team Support and Guest Engagement

• Assist management in various human resources functions including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
• Ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.
• Utilize computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
• Read and visually verify information presented in various formats, including small print.
• Perform additional reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
