IT Support & Network Administrator

About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking an IT Support & Network Administrator to join their team. This full-time role involves supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, network devices, servers, and end-user systems. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network connectivity, and assist with the administration of Windows-based systems. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support to users for hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related issues.
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points (WAPs).
• Support network connectivity, IP addressing, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, system access, and basic security.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field from a recognized university or institution. Relevant fields include Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks / Networking, Networking & Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.
• Practical experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server environments.
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Experience providing technical support to end-users and resolving IT-related incidents.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge may be considered for a Junior IT Support & Network Technician role.
