About the Role

TGP International is seeking an Operations Director - Multi-Venue to lead its food and beverage operations across a diverse portfolio of owned, client-operated, and consultancy venues. This full-time role requires a commercially creative leader with over 10 years of experience, responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining brand standards across all sites. The position involves regular travel between venue and project locations, including regional and international travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the revenue performance of the portfolio, setting growth plans for each site and identifying new income streams.
  • Lead menu engineering and pricing architecture to optimize spend per head and margin.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent execution of standards and compliance across all venues.
  • Design and implement F&B projects in line with client scopes of work, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Act as a senior operational counterpart to venue owners, clients, and partners, managing agreements and reporting cycles.
  • Ensure consistent application of TGP Operations Manual, policies, and procedures across all sites.
  • Conduct rolling reviews of KPIs, guest feedback, and market trends to shape brand and cuisine mix.
  • Hold profit and loss accountability for the operated portfolio and manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
  • Ensure high guest service quality, manage feedback, and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Oversee health and safety, cleaning, and maintenance programs, ensuring compliance and asset protection.
  • Ensure all sites maintain necessary licenses, registrations, and comply with food safety and labor laws.
  • Lead, coach, and develop venue and departmental leadership teams, supporting recruitment and training.
  • Provide operational and commercial input for new openings and transitions, ensuring readiness and post-opening stabilization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in F&B operations, with a demonstrable track record of generating revenue.
  • Strong revenue and margin instincts, including expertise in menu engineering, pricing, promotions, and yield management.
  • Proven leadership ability to motivate and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Sound business acumen and commercial judgment across all operational aspects.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports, including P&L, cost control, and labor reports.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Literacy in contracts and agreements, including authority limits and reporting obligations.
  • Experience in multi-site planning, prioritization, and time management.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with EPOS and hospitality systems, as well as productivity, project management, and financial software.
  • Working knowledge of local and international competitor F&B products, brand cuisine, and service standards.
  • Experience in restaurant marketing, promotions, and activation.
  • Proficiency in recruitment, training, coaching, development, evaluation, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Working knowledge of labor law and disciplinary procedures in relevant markets.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations with attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and travel frequently.

Work Environment

This role operates within a dynamic multi-site environment, encompassing venues owned and operated by TGP International, those managed on behalf of clients, and F&B operations consultancy projects. The Operations Director will be part of the management team, contributing to company policy and maintaining open communication with the Country Director and support office. Regular travel is an inherent part of the role, ensuring direct oversight and engagement across the portfolio.
