About the Role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join its rehabilitation team. This permanent role focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic care to patients, aiming to restore function and prevent disabilities resulting from injury or illness. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy programs for outpatient, inpatient, and critical care patients to restore function and prevent disabilities.
• Perform thorough assessments and develop treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapy Unit Supervisor, ensuring individualized patient care.
• Participate in the delivery and development of rehabilitation services, maintaining high standards of care.
• Engage in quality improvement and educational initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and instrument safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Physiotherapist, with at least 2 years in a senior Physiotherapist role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic interventions.
• Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of therapy machines and equipment.

Required Skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Capability to work with both adult and pediatric populations, including safe handling, lifting, and transferring of patients.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and community organizations.
