About the Role

Emperor is seeking Freelance Reporting Designers/Creatives to join its team in Saudi Arabia for the upcoming reporting season. This contract role involves working on annual and regulatory reports for global organizations, focusing on clear and impactful communication of complex information. The position is a flexible, remote freelance contract, with availability required from September/October 2026 through to February/March 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual systems for annual and regulatory reports, balancing brand expression with regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex business narratives into engaging visual stories that resonate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Design high-quality report pages, infographics, data visualizations, and supporting communications with attention to detail.
• Present creative thinking and design rationale to clients and senior stakeholders, incorporating feedback and guiding best practice.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Design Directors, Consultants, and Production teams to deliver work within deadlines.
• Contribute creative ideas throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to final delivery.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience working on large annual reports, ESG reports, or other complex corporate communications.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and editorial design.
• Ability to simplify complex information and create engaging layouts, infographics, and data visualizations accurately.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience working within brand guidelines while developing creative solutions.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Requirements for Senior Levels

For candidates applying at the Senior Designer and Creative level, the following additional qualifications are sought:

• Client-facing experience with the ability to present creative work, explain design decisions, and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset, balancing creative output with commercial objectives and regulatory considerations.
