Senior Rig Manager

About the Role

Mogi I/O is seeking a Senior Rig Manager to join its operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time leadership position within the Operations department, responsible for the overall performance and profitability of assigned rigs. The role requires a highly experienced and results-oriented individual to manage all aspects of rig operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and client satisfaction.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Senior Rig Manager will oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), maintenance, operations, personnel management (including subcontractors), and asset protection/management for assigned rigs. This position is critical for fostering a culture of excellence that prioritizes safety and collaboration, while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize day-to-day drilling operations to ensure efficiency and technical success.
• Manage the overall performance, profitability, and operational integrity of assigned rigs.
• Uphold stringent quality assurance standards, ensure compliance with HSE regulations, and lead safety initiatives across the operation.
• Lead, motivate, and manage multiple drilling crews, including subcontractors, and oversee personnel training and development.
• Coordinate rig logistics, supply chains, and external support services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, building positive, long-lasting relationships, and addressing stakeholder needs effectively.

Required Experience and Competencies

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Proven track record of leading, managing, and motivating multiple drilling crews.
• Extensive, hands-on experience in managing all aspects of wellbore operations.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize drilling performance, reduce operational costs, and consistently meet project timelines.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and a proven commitment to safety leadership.
• Solid experience in building and maintaining positive client and internal stakeholder relationships.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia, requiring active leadership and on-site management of rig operations. The role involves working closely with drilling crews, clients, and internal teams to ensure operational success.
