About Squadio and the UX Writer Role

Squadio operates as a Tech Team as a Service (TaaS) platform, specializing in building and providing tech teams to companies across Saudi Arabia and the GCC region. The platform connects global tech talent with leading organizations for both remote and onsite engagements. With headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and additional branches in Alexandria and Dubai, Squadio is seeking a UX Writer to join one of its client's teams. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in UX writing or digital content creation.

Role Objective

The UX Writer will be responsible for crafting clear, user-friendly, and engaging content across the platform's interfaces. This role involves simplifying complex information while maintaining a consistent and friendly tone that aligns with the brand's identity. The primary objective is to create all textual content within the application and its dashboards, enabling users to easily understand services, navigate smoothly, and make confident decisions. The UX Writer will ensure a unified tone of voice and consistent messaging in both Arabic and English to support the platform's overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Write UI copy, including buttons, labels, placeholders, and error messages.
• Create and refine system messages, notifications, and pop-ups in a clear and engaging style.
• Develop UX content that guides users throughout service browsing and booking journeys.
• Contribute to building a unified tone of voice and language style guide for the platform.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, development teams, and content teams to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Write and edit content in both Arabic and English, ensuring equivalent meaning, tone, and clarity.
• Improve and refine copy based on user feedback, analytics, and behavior patterns within the application.
• Write automated messaging content, such as emails and in-app notifications.
• Conduct text clarity and usability testing in collaboration with designers and developers.
• Participate in creating content for help pages, FAQs, and support documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic language, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX writing or digital content creation.

Required Skills

• Excellent command of Modern Standard Arabic, with a full understanding of Saudi dialect and culture.
• Strong ability to simplify language and write clear, user-friendly content.
• Ability to write in a friendly, consistent tone aligned with brand voice.
• Good understanding of UX design principles and user interaction.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities, particularly when collaborating with designers and developers.
