ASSISTANT CONSULTANT ANESTHESIOLOGY

About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Medina is seeking an Assistant Consultant, Anesthesiology. This full-time position involves assisting in the provision of medical care within the Anesthesiology department and supervising interns and residents. The role operates in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and the Hospital's established policies and procedures. Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Consultant in providing patient care and management in Anesthesiology, adhering to the Hospital's medical care standards.
• Deliver high-quality patient care across all aspects of Anesthesiology, consistent with approved clinical privileges.
• Provide consultations for inpatients and emergency room cases upon request, ensuring timely responses as outlined in Hospital policy.
• Ensure the timely completion, accuracy, and legibility of medical records.
• Provide on-call service, maintaining availability and response times within the prescribed timeframe according to Hospital policy.
• Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge and ensure discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to discharge.
• Perform other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty as assigned.

Training and Development

• Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
• Participate in the department’s educational activities and training programs.
• Partake in national and international medical conferences.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to provide medical care in Anesthesiology.
• Strong commitment to patient care and medical standards.
