About the Role: Audio/Voice Trainer Arabic

Turing is seeking an Arabic Audio/Voice Trainer for a multi-speaker diarization project in Saudi Arabia. This contract role involves participating in natural, unscripted group conversations on various assigned topics. The ideal candidate will contribute to realistic discussions, conveying appropriate emotion, personality, and tone through their voice. This position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Join assigned sessions punctually according to the specified date, time, and time zone.
• Engage in natural discussions on assigned topics with other speakers in the session.
• Speak regularly, respond to others, ask and answer questions, and contribute equitably to the conversation.
• Adhere to topic guidance, ensuring discussions are interactive rather than scripted or formal speeches.
• Utilize natural conversational reactions, including brief overlaps and backchannels when appropriate.

Candidate Requirements

• Comfortable speaking and interacting within a group conversation setting.
• Available for the entirety of the assigned session time and time zone.
• Willingness to speak and contribute actively; passive participation is not acceptable.
• Ability to follow instructions and discuss topics naturally without relying on a script.
• Capable of providing the necessary recording environment and microphone setup.

Required Microphone Setup and Recording Environment

• A proper external microphone with wired headphones is preferred. A good-quality wired headset with a built-in microphone is acceptable if it provides clear, muffle-free audio. Basic or low-quality headsets are not sufficient.
• Laptop speakers, Bluetooth earphones, or open speakers are not permitted during recording.
• The same microphone, headphones, and device used for the audio sample submission during the job application must be used for the session.
• Record in a quiet room free from external noise sources such as TV, music, fan noise, traffic, pets, or other people talking.
• Maintain consistent microphone positioning and speak clearly at a natural volume. Avoid echo, reverb, distortion, clipping, typing, tapping, or handling the device near the microphone.

Evaluation Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications and relevant professional experience. Shortlisted candidates will then undergo a delivery review before commencing the project.

Contract Details

This is a flexible agreement and does not constitute a full-time or part-time employment position. Availability for the exact assigned date, time, and time zone is mandatory, with active contribution expected for the full session duration.
