About the Role

YO IT Consulting is seeking a C# QA Lead to join its team in a remote contractor capacity. This role involves overseeing the quality, consistency, and performance of trainers across various C# AI training projects. The successful candidate will play a critical part in ensuring that C# training data is accurate, executable, idiomatic, secure, clearly explained, and aligned with client expectations for a fast-growing AI Data Services company.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct spot-checks on C# items, identify quality issues, provide direct feedback, and escalate critical or recurring problems.
• Evaluate AI-generated C# code, .NET snippets, API examples, debugging responses, tests, architecture explanations, and step-by-step reasoning.
• Communicate guideline changes, workflow updates, and C#-specific review standards to contributors via Discord.
• Respond to technical questions concerning .NET behavior, async/await, LINQ, dependency injection, EF Core, testing, security, and rubric interpretation.
• Manage contributor activation by messaging inactive individuals, tracking follow-ups, and flagging availability issues.
• Create and maintain C# style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
• Lead onboarding and training calls for C# contributors.
• Identify and flag insecure, misleading, non-executable, or non-production-ready C#/.NET recommendations.
• Propose and implement improvements to QA workflows based on identified recurring gaps.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional software engineering experience.
• 5-10 years of overall professional experience, with at least 3+ years in C#/.NET development, backend engineering, enterprise software, cloud development, code review, QA, or technical mentoring.
• Strong grasp of English for following guidelines and providing clear technical feedback.
• Strong understanding of C# syntax, OOP, LINQ, generics, collections, exceptions, async/await, tasks, dependency injection, nullable reference types, records, delegates/events, and .NET runtime behavior.
• Ability to identify issues such as incorrect logic, non-executable code, flawed async usage, poor error handling, weak type safety, security risks, hallucinated APIs, or incomplete explanations.

Technical Skills and Attributes

• Familiarity with .NET, **** Core, Entity Framework Core, xUnit/NUnit/MSTest, Visual Studio/Rider, NuGet, Azure/AWS, Docker, GitHub, CI/CD, and logging/observability tools is preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, engineers, coding mentors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, GitHub, and project management systems.
• Highly organized and capable of maintaining style guides, trackers, FAQs, onboarding materials, honeypots, calibration tasks, and quality documentation.
• Experience with AI training, LLM evaluation, code QA, or rubric-based code review is a strong advantage.

Work Arrangement and Opportunity

This is a full-time, remote contractor role based in Saudi Arabia. While there is no immediate project available for this specific position, qualified candidates will be prioritized and among the first experts contacted when relevant opportunities arise. This also provides access to future projects within the company's expert network.
