Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving customer repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the operational readiness of tools and equipment. The role requires 2-5 years of related experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address customer repair requests, communicating effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and conduct visual inspections.
• Transport equipment such as tools and radios, and identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, order necessary parts and supplies, and record information on unfinished interventions before shift changes.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure proper storage of flammable materials and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and complete work uniform, uphold a professional appearance, and protect company property and confidential information.
• Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs, assist disabled persons, and express gratitude.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
• Develop positive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
• Use clear and courteous language in all communications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms independently.
• Capability to climb and descend stairs, service access, and/or ladders.
• Perform extension and flexion movements on the knees, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or professional educational institution.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

Required Certifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
