About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving customer repair and maintenance requests, ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment and facilities. The role requires 2-5 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, and conduct visual inspections.
Transport necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
Manage maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
Record information on unfinished interventions before shift changes.
Adhere to all safety and security policies, report hazards or incidents, complete required safety training, and properly store flammable materials.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of company information, and protect company property.
Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs, assist disabled persons, and thank guests warmly.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
Develop positive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing loads up to 23 kilograms independently.
Climb and descend stairs, service access points, and ladders.
Execute extension and flexion movements involving bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.
Perform other duties as assigned by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational institution.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
License/Certification: A valid driver's license is required.
