Engineer III

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves responding to and addressing repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of hotel equipment and facilities. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with guests and clients to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for proper function and wear.
• Transport equipment such as tools and radios as needed.
• Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
• Maintain appropriate maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies when necessary.
• Record information on incomplete calls before shift change.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete safety training and obtain certifications as required.
• Store flammable materials safely and correctly.
• Ensure a neat and professional appearance and uniform.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest and Team Interaction

• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.

Physical Requirements

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance.
• Ascend and descend regular stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is desirable.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience is required, with 2-5 years overall experience. No supervisory experience is required.
• License/Certification: A valid driver's license is mandatory.
