About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineer III to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving customer repair requests, ensuring the preventive maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintaining a high standard of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for operational integrity.
Transport necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
Identify, locate, and operate all equipment shut-off valves.
Maintain maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
Record information on unfinished interventions before shift changes.
Follow all safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training; and properly store flammable materials.
Ensure a clean and complete work uniform is worn and maintain a professional appearance.
Respect confidentiality regarding company and hotel-specific information and protect company property.
Welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs, assist disabled persons, and thank guests warmly.
Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
Develop positive professional relationships with peers, collaborate to achieve common goals, and address employee concerns appropriately.
Use clear and courteous language in all communications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place loads weighing up to 23 kilograms independently.
Capability to climb and descend stairs, service access, and ladders.
Ability to perform extension and flexion movements on the knees, including bending, turning, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or professional institution.
Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
License: A valid driver's license is required.
