About the Field Service Engineer Role

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves providing technical expertise and consultancy at customer sites. The role focuses on the installation, troubleshooting, engineering, operation, configuration, and optimization of CCC products and systems, as well as instructing customers on appropriate product usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-commissioning activities, including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing, using independent judgment and expertise.
• Conduct testing and tuning, including machinery testing, control loop tuning, and troubleshooting within customer processes.
• Apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations to complete specific projects and tasks.
• Perform thermodynamic calculations and analysis of machine performance.
• Provide remote technical support, systems engineering support, and troubleshooting.
• Transfer technology knowledge to customer operating and engineering staff through training sessions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to support the product lifecycle and customer experience.
• Complete required administrative tasks, such as expenses and reports, and provide aftermarket support.
• Respond productively to change and handle other duties as required.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Internship, Co-op, or 1-3 years of previous work experience with turbo machinery control systems (Compressors, Steam / Turbines, Expanders, Generators) and Process control is preferred.
• Proficiency in computers and networking. Programming skills are a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of thermodynamics concepts gained through formal education.
• Basic training skills are preferred. Experience with safety systems and/or TUV certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English is required. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
• Certified to work offshore or willing and capable to complete the required training.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia. The role requires providing on-site technical expertise and consultancy at customer locations.
