The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Fitness Instructor (Saudi) to join their team. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on providing fitness instruction and support to guests within a recreational facility.

Role Overview

The Fitness Instructor will lead group fitness classes for all ability levels and offer guidance on proper exercise techniques with fitness equipment. Key responsibilities include assessing individual fitness levels to develop personalized exercise programs and providing fitness counseling to guests, fostering a positive and relaxing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond to emergencies according to local operating procedures.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Report equipment service needs to Maintenance or an external service company.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and over 75 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and any other certifications or training required by local and state agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a recreational facility, requiring active engagement with guests and adherence to safety protocols.
