About the Role

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a General Manager for the Crowne Plaza Madina Al Haramain. This full-time role involves leading and directing the hotel's daily operations, with a focus on maximizing sales and revenue to drive financial returns. The position also includes responsibility for pre-opening readiness and ensuring a successful market entry in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day leadership and direction of the hotel.
• Maximize sales and revenue, and drive financial returns for the hotel.
• Oversee the development of hotel staff and ensure the execution of brand standards.
• Build awareness of the hotel and brand within the local area.
• Lead pre-opening readiness activities and ensure successful market entry in Saudi Arabia.

Team and Talent Development

• Develop programs and initiatives to increase team engagement, aligned with the hotel’s service philosophy.
• Implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength.
• Establish performance and development goals for team members.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to enhance team performance.
• Oversee HR-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.

Guest Experience and Brand Standards

• Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand and service standards.
• Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues and hotel team members to establish and implement services and programs that meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback and build relationships.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in hotel management or a similar leadership capacity.
