General Manager, Yacht and Shipping

Business Umbrella is seeking a General Manager with an exclusive background in the yacht and shipping industry. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia and requires a leader capable of developing and overseeing strategic initiatives, operational policies, and financial performance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and align the organizational strategy to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other functional strategies across the company.
• Oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and controls.
• Develop and recommend the budget, and monitor the function’s financial performance.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, and providing formal and informal feedback and appraisals.
• Direct the strategic direction of the Product Development Plan and oversee the Head of Product Management and Product Managers in developing new value-added products across B2B-Consumer, B2C-Commercial, B2B-Government, and B2C business areas.
• Direct and approve the Product Marketing Strategy and Plan.
• Ensure implementation of and compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, and Business Continuity requirements as per company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates must possess a background exclusively within the yacht and shipping industries.
