Laboratory Specialist

About the Role

Magrabi Health is seeking a Laboratory Specialist to join our team in 'Asir. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in laboratory procedures. The specialist will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory tests and maintaining operational standards within the laboratory services department.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various laboratory procedures including hematology, biochemistry, serology, and urine analysis.
• Conduct venipuncture for micro sample collection of blood samples, ensuring proper patient identification.
• Assist laboratory personnel in resolving technical and proficiency-related issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance on all laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Review all proficiency testing results in collaboration with the Chief of Laboratory Services.
• Contribute to the compilation of laboratory statistical reports.
• Adhere to body substance isolation procedures consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas within laboratory services.
• Prepare, label, dispense, and store all prepared solutions as required.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in laboratory settings, demonstrating foundational knowledge and practical skills in performing various diagnostic tests and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in 'Asir, where the Laboratory Specialist will work within the laboratory services department, collaborating with other laboratory personnel to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
