About the Role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join its healthcare team. This full-time role is essential for managing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered medication management. The Pharmacist will support clinical teams and adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards within the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and hospital policies.
Review and evaluate prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness for patients.
Provide patient counseling and drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
Prepare and handle medications in compliance with pharmacy standards, including IV admixtures and extemporaneous preparations as required.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory control of medications, including controlled and narcotic drugs.
Identify, prevent, and report medication errors to ensure patient safety.
Conduct inspections of medication storage areas and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Valid professional license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Knowledge of hospital pharmacy standards, regulations, and CBAHI requirements.
2-5 years of relevant experience.
