Wataniya Insurance Co. is seeking a PMO Senior Officer to join its team. This is a full-time position for professionals with 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on overseeing the governance, coordination, and successful delivery of IT projects and initiatives within the organization.

Role Overview

The PMO Senior Officer ensures that IT projects align with organizational strategy, business objectives, and established project management standards. This position is responsible for effective portfolio oversight, monitoring project performance, managing risks and dependencies, and promoting the consistent application of PMO methodologies and best practices. The role also drives continuous improvement initiatives, enhances reporting and governance frameworks, and supports the ongoing maturity of project management capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with approved scope, timelines, budget, and expected business outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, risks, issues, and dependencies across assigned initiatives.
• Ensure project plans, schedules, and deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and maintained.
• Enforce compliance with project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
• Support management in overseeing the IT project portfolio, ensuring proper prioritization and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Ensure all projects follow standardized PMO processes including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Review project documentation, status reports, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Ensure risks, issues, and escalations are properly managed and communicated.

Process Improvement and PMO Maturity

• Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and reporting practices.
• Promote best practices such as Agile, hybrid delivery models, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support the development of standard templates, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Contribute to improving PMO maturity and governance capabilities.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 6-8 years of relevant experience in project management, PMO functions, or IT project delivery oversight.
