About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Polisher/Painter to join their team. This full-time position involves responding to and resolving guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of tools and equipment. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with guests and customers to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify potential issues.
Carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift changes.

Safety and Compliance

Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Properly store flammable materials according to safety guidelines.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Teamwork

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
Support the team to achieve common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Capable of moving up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
