Pool Attendant/Concierge

About the Role

EDITION is seeking a Pool Attendant/Concierge to serve as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property. This full-time role involves providing information to guests about available recreation facilities, encouraging participation in activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. The position requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guests with information regarding recreation facilities, including pools, beaches, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and child activity centers.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a relaxing atmosphere and enforce facility rules and regulations for guest safety.
• Observe activity within recreational facilities and respond to emergencies according to local operating procedures.
• Process point-of-sale transactions and assist with private functions and group activities within recreation facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may not safely participate in an activity and inform supervisors.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 25 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
