About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Principal Technical Professional-Telecommunication to join their team. This full-time role involves the design, specification, and service management of various communication systems, ensuring robust data transmission and connectivity.

Role Overview

The Principal Technical Professional-Telecommunication is responsible for applying advanced engineering techniques independently to address complex engineering problems and methods. This role involves representing the organization in conferences to resolve critical issues and negotiate with key engineers and officials from other organizations. The professional will also provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers, serving as a trusted consultant whose scientific interpretations and advice are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Design, specify, and manage services related to communication systems, including satellite, line of sight, fiber optic, phone, and public address systems.
Oversee the transmission of data from supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Independently apply advanced engineering techniques to solve complex technical challenges.
Make informed decisions regarding engineering problems and methodologies.
Represent the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and negotiate with external engineers and officials.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers and junior engineers.
Manage measurable assets, including assigned staff and budget.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant technical professional role.
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced engineering techniques independently.
Proven experience in making decisions on engineering problems and methods.
Experience in providing technical guidance and mentorship.
