About Majd Yanbu Industrial Company

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is a Saudi limited liability company established as a 50/50 joint venture between Elsewedy Cables Company and Alfanar Electrical Systems. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City, under the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. This facility specializes in producing high-purity copper rods for electrical and industrial applications, serving customers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

About the Role

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to join their team in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring the quality of copper rods, raw materials, and related products through various testing and inspection procedures. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality inspection, sampling, and testing of copper rods, raw materials, and related products.
Conduct physical, chemical, electrical, and metallurgical tests, including conductivity, tensile strength, elongation, and resistivity.
Ensure compliance with ASTM B49, ASTM B117, BS EN 1977, BS EN 1978, customer specifications, and internal quality standards.
Monitor production quality, process parameters, and product traceability.
Verify laboratory equipment calibration and ensure reliable test results.
Identify and control non-conforming products, reduce defects and scrap, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prepare daily quality reports.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in a relevant technical field.
2–3 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in copper rod, wire, cable, metal processing, or continuous casting is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
