Recreation Experience Expert

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Recreation Experience Expert to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves being a key resource for all recreation activities on the property, providing guests with information about available facilities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Motivate, recruit, register, and organize guests to participate in recreational activities.
• Foster a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Promote the rules and regulations of recreational facilities to maintain guest and member safety and well-being.
• Observe activity in recreational facilities and react correctly according to local operating procedures in case of emergency.
• Provide cashier service when working in facilities that include point-of-sale transactions.
• Assist during private group activity functions and events held at recreational facilities.
• Report potential unsafe situations for guests participating in activities to the supervisor/manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Operational Duties

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of company information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and serve all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate using clear and professional language; answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to achieve common goals.
• Process payments for equipment rental, recreational activities, facility rental, or retail sales.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time or for the entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds (11 kg) or less without assistance and objects weighing over 25 pounds (11 kg) with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• Move in elevated, confined, or narrow spaces.
• Move on slippery, uneven, or inclined surfaces, as well as climb and descend stairs or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, crawling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Mandatory Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, First Aid certification, and all certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
• Skills: Proficiency with recreation and fitness equipment.
