About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join its team. This full-time position is exclusively open to Saudi nationals. The role is central to ensuring optimal service delivery and meeting guest needs within the restaurant environment. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity within the hospitality sector.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, coordinating staff efforts, and maintaining established service standards. This position plays a key role in supporting management functions and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction through efficient and professional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure staff teamwork to achieve optimum service and guest satisfaction.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing premises.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO principles, and cleanliness.
  • Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs as needed.

Team Leadership and Service Standards

  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to reach common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
  • Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (*, to identify defects).
  • Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Proficiency to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Aptitude to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
  • Capability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
