About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. This full-time role, open to Saudi nationals only, is central to ensuring the efficient operation, safety, and high-quality guest service within our facilities. The Shift Leader will be responsible for critical maintenance tasks and will provide essential support to management in various employee-related functions, contributing to a well-maintained and service-oriented environment.

Core Maintenance Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Shift Leader involve comprehensive maintenance and operational oversight, including:

• Installing, maintaining, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, with recommendations for replacements as necessary.
• Calibrating all controls, gauges, and meters to ensure accuracy.
• Identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves within the facility.
• Ordering, marking, and stocking parts and supplies, while maintaining accurate inventory and purchase order logs.
• Visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines for proper function and wear.
• Utilizing computers to enter and retrieve work-related information.
• Operating power lift equipment safely and efficiently.

Operational Support and Standards Adherence

Beyond direct maintenance, the Shift Leader plays a crucial role in upholding operational standards and supporting the team:

• Completing life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests.
• Inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of disaster response protocols.
• Responding promptly to and attending to guest repair requests.
• Supporting management in tasks such as hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Adhering to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing required safety training and certifications.
• Ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and responding to concerns.
• Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards across all tasks.
• Identifying, recommending, developing, and implementing new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

Candidates for this role must be able to perform the following physical activities:

• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Moving up and down stairs and/or service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for the Shift Leader position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is required.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: No specific license or certification is required for this role.
