The Role of Sr. Maintenance Storeman

Pepsico is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Storeman to join its full-time team. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring warehouse standards, and supporting the efficient flow of materials within the operation. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and month-end inventory reconciliation.
• Follow AGRO and MRP offloading plans within the process flow.
• Adhere to daily task checklists and daily tour checklists.
• Ensure all warehouses comply with AIB standards.
• Report near misses, including all reporting crew.
• Maintain accuracy in receiving and issuance processes.
• Take over shifts from previous personnel, detailing all pending work.
• Follow up on daily document flow filling.
• Coordinate with Quality for all shipments to ensure accepted document flow.
• Conduct PIT inspections and follow up with the fleet for pre-maintenance.
• Allocate jobs to dispatchers, laborers, and Forklift Operators.
• Carry out daily physical counts of goods for inventory reconciliation and report to the Store Supervisor.
• Follow hygiene processes and ensure all points are covered according to area checklists.
• Oversee offloading/loading and accurately review blind counts.
• Coordinate with forklift operators for rearranging storage and movement of goods to facilitate FEFO procedures.
• Handover shifts to the next personnel, including jobs to be completed or special instructions.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is well-maintained, used properly, and periodic maintenance is recorded.
• Implement, sustain, and participate in the continual improvement of the EHS Management System (MS) in the area of responsibility, in accordance with legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS, and relevant EHS standards. This includes ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks and achieving EHS targets.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with AIB standards and EHS management systems.
