Supervisor Stewards

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Stewards to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves overseeing and assisting stewards to ensure efficient cleanup operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and banquet areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and assist stewards to optimize cleanup efficiency.
• Ensure water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning are appropriate and documented.
• Assist with banquet plate-ups and support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Provide cooks with necessary items and support banquet and buffet operations by transporting and ensuring adequate stock.
• Return cleaned items to their designated locations.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience range: 2-5 years.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Al Madinah, within a dynamic hotel environment. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
