Abdul Hadi Abdullah Al-Qahtani & Sons Beverage Company (AQS-PEPSI) is seeking a skilled Building Electrician to join its team. This full-time position is based in Abha, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for maintaining the electrical infrastructure across the company's industrial and commercial facilities.

Role Overview

The Building Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various electrical systems. This includes working with High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) systems, alongside general building electrical services such as lighting, HVAC electrical systems, and other utilities. The role also involves supporting basic control panel design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for critical building service equipment like air conditioning and chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and associated equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on transformers, switchgears, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), breakers, cables, distribution panels, and motors.
• Diagnose and repair faults within power distribution and control systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot building lighting systems, including emergency and industrial lighting.
• Maintain wiring, sockets, Distribution Board (DB) panels, and general building power distribution infrastructure.
• Ensure the proper functioning of emergency lighting and backup power systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in HVAC control circuits, motors, sensors, and thermostats, coordinating with HVAC technicians for system reliability.
• Assist in the design, wiring, modification, and installation of control panels.
• Install and troubleshoot relays, contactors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), timers, and sensors.
• Provide support for basic Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) troubleshooting.
• Read and accurately interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Support installation and commissioning activities for new and upgraded systems.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems for industrial and commercial environments. This role requires a professional with significant hands-on experience and a commitment to safety and operational excellence within a dynamic setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in HV, MV, and LV electrical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical faults.
• Experience with control panel design, installation, and support for building service equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong understanding and adherence to electrical safety procedures, including LOTO.
