About the Role

We are seeking a Manager of Population Health Management to lead and develop our population health initiatives. This full-time position is based in Al-Ahsa.

Strategic Leadership and Financial Oversight

The Manager will be responsible for developing departmental strategic objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and individual employee goals, ensuring alignment with overall leadership direction. Achievement of departmental targets will be driven through effective planning, risk management, and data-informed decision-making. This includes the development, management, and monitoring of the annual departmental budget, ensuring adherence to financial plans and minimizing variances.

Population Health Program Management

This role involves leading the design and management of Population Health Management (PHM) programs, encompassing screening, chronic disease management, and employee health initiatives. Key responsibilities include defining program scope, eligibility criteria, care pathways, identifying care gaps, and establishing outcome measures in collaboration with clinical specialties. The Manager will also conduct disease segmentation and risk stratification to identify and prioritize high-risk populations.

Clinical Integration and Collaboration

A critical aspect of this role is partnering with clinical specialties to integrate PHM programs into existing clinical workflows and ensure clinical alignment. The Manager will serve as the PHM representative in clinical committees and leadership forums. Collaboration with teams such as ADA, Case Management, IT, and Quality is essential for developing dashboards, KPIs, workflows, and processes for resolving care gaps.

Value-Based Care and Performance

The Manager will lead the PHM contribution to value-based care initiatives, including the design of pilot programs and risk-stratification frameworks. This involves defining PHM KPIs and ensuring their alignment with measurement logic developed with analytics teams. Interpretation of program performance data and contribution to executive and board-level reporting are also key functions.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Physiotherapy, Public Health, or a related clinical field. A Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Epidemiology, Population Health, or a related field is preferred. An MD is considered an advantage. The required experience is 5-10 years, with 2-4 years in a managerial capacity.
