About Maaden and the Role
Maaden is seeking a Senior Analyst Performance Management II to join its team in Turaif, Al Qasim. This full-time role is integral to supporting robust financial operations and contributing to effective business decisions within the organization.
Role Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure accurate financial accounting, comprehensive reporting, and insightful analysis across all business operations. The Senior Analyst will maintain strict compliance with financial policies, regulatory requirements, and established accounting standards, thereby providing reliable financial information crucial for effective decision-making and optimal financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accounts payable services in adherence to agreed service levels, including reviewing and approving supplier reconciliations.
- Resolve supplier payment and invoice exceptions, and maintain accurate vendor master data.
- Reconcile sub-ledgers and General Ledger accounts, and compile accounts payable and vendor age analysis reports.
- Control Goods Received/Invoice Received (GRIR) balances and investigate any discrepancies.
- Negotiate vendor settlement discounts within approved authority limits.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and records, verify asset additions, and coordinate physical asset checks.
- Calculate and record asset depreciation, and manage the establishment, tracking, and closure of capital projects.
- Ensure full compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor daily cash balances and petty cash controls, and accurately process local and international payments.
- Administer banking activities and financial transactions, and prepare and post accounting journals.
- Reconcile financial accounts and resolve variances, and process sales transactions and customer invoices.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial projections, and produce accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Support safe operations and contribute to achieving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for the Senior Analyst Performance Management II role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. A strong understanding of financial policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards is essential for success in this position.
