The Role: Architectural Engineer QA/QC
Alfanar is seeking a dedicated Architectural Engineer QA/QC to join its team in Al Hafuf, Eastern Region. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring that all products and projects consistently meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of quality control procedures, assisting with inspections and audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Architectural Engineer QA/QC will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to uphold quality standards across projects, including:
- Ensuring that all drawing dimensions and embedments are accurately followed, and communicating with designers to resolve any conflicts.
- Following issued Requests for Information (RFIs), providing comprehensive comments, and monitoring the rectification of these comments.
- Representing the department for joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other relevant parties.
- Ensuring that only approved materials are utilized in project execution and clarifying any project arrangements that require specific execution.
- Raising any quality concerns encountered to prevent recurrence and documenting non-conformities and observations, including the required Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Following through on the implementation of all required corrective actions.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
A core aspect of this role involves actively contributing to quality assurance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This includes:
- Enhancing processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs).
- Monitoring the effective implementation of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
- Ensuring quality requirements are met to develop effective quality control processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
- Coordinating well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and actively seeking opportunities for automation where feasible.

- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position should possess:
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, preferably within an architectural or engineering context.
- A strong understanding of quality processes, inspection compliance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- The ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
