KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) delivers comprehensive solutions across the entire asset lifecycle, encompassing licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions for optimizing assets. KBR is seeking a Fabricator I to manage and execute piping fabrication activities safely and efficiently, aligning with plant requirements. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern region, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Fabricator I will be responsible for the organization and execution of piping fabrication tasks. This involves ensuring all activities adhere to safety standards and operational needs, both within the workshop and in the field. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in following technical specifications and maintaining quality compliance throughout the fabrication process.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate required piping or layouts according to job instructions, drawings, material specifications, and supervisor's technical references.
• Set up, align, and operate heavy-duty specialized workshop tools for cutting, threading, and grooving various types of pipes and joints.
• Organize necessary resources, including materials and equipment, for pipe fabrication work.
• Ensure all pipe fabrication complies with quality specifications.
• Execute fabrication tasks both at the designated site and in the field.
• Monitor and track the progress of ongoing pipe fabrication jobs.
• Log all progress related to pipe fabrication and report to the pipefitter supervisor.
• Support investigation efforts for failure analysis of piping circuits.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a High School diploma.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with a Diploma.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency for the required works.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the KBR team, located in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role involves working both in a workshop setting and directly in the field to execute fabrication tasks.
