Project Engineer

About the Role

Silah Tamkeen is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This full-time role involves overseeing the execution of projects related to ELV and electronic security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys to verify cable routes, equipment locations, and overall site conditions.
• Review technical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and method statements.
• Supervise technicians and subcontractors to maintain work quality and productivity standards.
• Oversee the installation of ELV and electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, cabling, and fiber optics.
• Ensure strict compliance with HCIS/SAIS standards, client requirements, and established safety and quality procedures.
• Supervise the installation and readiness of control room equipment.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, Requests for Information (RFIs), as-built drawings, and handover documents.
• Provide support for testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final project handover processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in engineering and project execution.
• Demonstrated experience in electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, video analytics, and intrusion detection.
• Experience in industrial security systems projects (SAIS) is highly preferred.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and IT/networking is considered a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Work Environment and Travel

This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern region. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, supporting various project sites as needed.
