Welder II

About the Role

Sankyu Saudi Arabia is seeking a Welder II to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time position involves executing various welding jobs on different materials and material combinations according to specified drawings and quality standards. The Welder II will also be responsible for operating all machinery within the welding shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Welder I, Welder II, and Welder III personnel in performing various welding jobs as per welding procedures provided by the supervisor.
• Execute welding activities both in the field and within the plant environment.
• Monitor ongoing welding jobs to ensure progress and adherence to standards.
• Assist in field investigation work to conduct failure analysis related to welding.
• Maintain detailed logs of all field progress and submit them to the supervisor.
• Select appropriate tools for tasks and conduct thorough tool inspections.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed according to quality specifications and within the established schedule, communicating job completion to the supervisor immediately.
• Verify compliance with all safety procedures during welding operations.
• Encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) procedures before commencing and during work.
• Participate in Tool Box talks prior to starting any welding job.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Welder II position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in welding. The role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques for various materials and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. The role involves working both in plant facilities and in various field locations, requiring adaptability to different work settings.
