Certified Welder

About the Role

Zahid Industries is seeking a Certified Welder to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves executing precise welding activities on various components, adhering strictly to technical drawings and work instructions. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in welding.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute welding jobs on both small and large components in accordance with provided drawings and work instructions.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements to accurately plan layouts for welding tasks.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure full compliance with all established safety rules and regulations.
• Analyze equipment failures and provide recommendations to prevent similar issues in the future.
• Actively work to minimize rework and non-conformance in all welding activities.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Comply with all safety procedures relevant to the role and work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Welder.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment maintenance.

Internal Collaboration

This role involves regular interaction with internal teams to ensure high standards and operational efficiency. The Certified Welder will collaborate closely with the Quality department to maintain a zero-defect concept in all work. Daily work-related interactions will also occur with other site personnel and lead persons to facilitate smooth operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work. The successful candidate will operate within a structured industrial environment, contributing to the production and maintenance of components.
