The Role: Electrical QC Inspector

Target Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Control Inspector to join its project team in Al Khafji, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for upholding the highest quality standards across the construction, testing, and commissioning phases of projects. The role requires a strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects and 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform QC inspections and surveillance for electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct inspections for cable laying, glanding, termination, and insulation resistance (megger) testing.
• Inspect the installation of LV/HV electrical equipment, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), panels, and related electrical systems.
• Oversee electrical testing, continuity checks, functional testing, energization readiness, and commissioning activities.
• Witness and verify pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch list items, and quality observations.
• Coordinate closely with Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, Engineering, and Client teams.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards, including IEC, IEEE, NEC, and other applicable codes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
• Support client inspections, audits, and quality assessments as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrical Quality Control Inspector.
• A strong background in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in a relevant capacity.
• Familiarity with international electrical standards such as IEC, IEEE, and NEC.
• Ability to review technical documentation and ensure project specification compliance.
