About the Role

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Professional Civil to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the study, design, specification, and services related to various civil engineering works.

Role Overview

Under direct supervision, the Associate Technical Professional - Civil will independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. The role requires judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to established methods. With additional experience in a specific functional area, this position will contribute to the design of larger and more complex assignments, which involve conventional types of plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct studies and designs for various civil engineering projects.
• Develop specifications for civil engineering works.
• Provide services related to transportation systems, including road, rail, airport, and seaport infrastructure.
• Engage in projects involving bridges, general infrastructure, and drainage systems.
• Work on underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, and water treatment and distribution systems.
• Contribute to wastewater collection and treatment, water resources, and raw water supply initiatives.
• Participate in tunnel and geotechnical design projects.

Tasks performed correctly in this role indirectly contribute to cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and overall operations. The precision and quality of work are essential for the successful execution of civil engineering projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering is required.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
