Your role and responsibilities
Leading front-end sales activities of VSDS with customers looking for high-power MV drive systems in close collaboration with tendering back-end.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships along account planning.
- Promotes recognition of ABB’s VSDS solutions, aligning its positioning in sales pursuits.
- Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Responsible for OR volume and profitability targets for the assigned Product Group.
- Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans for potential order shortfalls.
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB using effective sales techniques.
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities.
- Finalizes offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or Sales Manager.
Qualifications For The Role
Understanding of the essential and preferred requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical.
- 5 to 8 years of industry experience, preferably in sales and technical support.
- Motor and VFD system knowledge.
- Sales skills on projects and solutions offerings.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
