Join ABB as an Advisory Sales Specialist

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As the Advisory Sales Specialist, you will drive the service sales process in collaboration with the ABB SEAM Regional Commercial and Operations team, supported by the Global Market Development team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Generating service sales opportunities within the Middle East region to achieve desired customer outcomes focusing on safety, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Creating a sales execution plan that aligns with the regional commercial strategy.
  • Maintaining good pipeline and CRM discipline for accurate sales management and forecasting.
  • Building long-term relationships with customers and ensuring prompt responses to their needs.
  • Traveling up to 50% of the time within the EMEA region.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of sales experience in commercial and industrial markets.
  • Strong background in sales and marketing within the Electrification, Asset Management Industry or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern markets with multi-country exposure.

  • Delivering specific distribution, pricing, promotion, and merchandising objectives in line with POP vision
  • Executing specific “push” and “pull” initiatives as directed by FLM’s
  • Monitoring individual call files to identify new customer opportunities
  • Completing all planning and administration for the territory in line with Olayan Standard Field Operating Procedures
  • Demonstrating knowledge and practical use of structured call principles

Education & Certifications
High school diploma required.

Experience
You should have a minimum of 34 years of sales experience.
