Welder Instrument Builder

About the Role

Emerson is seeking a Welder-Instrument Builder to join their team. This full-time position is based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, covering cities such as Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, Al Khafji, Buqayq, Hafar Al Batin, An Nu'ayriyah, Al Qaysumah, Safwa, Al Jish, Inak, Darin, Umm Al Hamam, Al Mubarraz, Al Jafr, and Al Umran. The Welder-Instrument Builder is responsible for the assembly, welding, testing, and inspection of instrument components, ensuring adherence to manufacturing, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, welding, testing, and inspection activities for instrument products and components.
• Conduct TIG welding on various materials, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and related tools.
• Execute product testing, quality verification, basic troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Support calibration and assembly activities in accordance with manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Production Engineers to improve processes, quality, and productivity.
• Ensure accurate adherence to Quality Management System requirements.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend improvements related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment following 5S principles.
• Perform multiple production tasks to support operational flexibility and job rotation requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions.
