Qualifications:
You should have a diploma or degree in the hospitality field along with previous experience in hotel reservations. Proficiency in using computers and excellent communication skills in English are essential, while knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

You should be professional, able to build effective relationships with customers, and work independently in a structured environment, demonstrating competencies in teamwork, taking responsibility, recognizing differences, adaptability, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients via phone, letter, or fax.
- Input all reservations into the computer, recording all pertinent information and attending to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
- Stay updated with hotel promotions and follow established procedures for processing reservations, rates, confirmations, and hotel facilities.
- Show complete product knowledge and understand rate structure for effective rate management.
- Maintain an established filing system for all correspondence and collate reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
- Promote and maintain good public relations to maximize business.
- Ensure accurate room status at all times.
- Answer all incoming calls as per Rotana standards and regularly check incoming e-mails.
- Organize visa requests for hotel guests in accordance with hotel policy and up-sell whenever opportunities arise.
