About the Role

Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a dedicated Hi-Loader Operator to join its team in Al Qassim. This full-time position is central to ensuring the safe and efficient loading and offloading of flights within catering operations. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, committed to upholding stringent safety, hygiene, and security regulations.

Operational Responsibilities

• Execute the correct loading of flights using the High Loader, ensuring meal carts, containers, and standard units are properly secured.
• Ensure all flights are loaded according to the loading plan and within established deadlines.
• Verify that all equipment for loading is correctly labeled as per the packing diagram.
• Operate the vehicle's air conditioning unit during loading operations.
• Ensure the Hi-loader is clean and tidy before and after each handling operation (arrival/departure).
• Ensure offloaded food items are not consumed.
• Supply sufficient dry ice with food items to maintain required temperatures.
• Adhere to proper procedures for parking the up-catering van during delivery.
• Assist in handling DEK and ABC Guide as required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, in accordance with Saudi Labor Law.

Safety, Security, and Compliance

• Strictly enforce regulations while loading and offloading aircraft, ensuring no liquor, cabin crew kits, or non-catering items are offloaded.
• Adhere to laid down hygiene standards during preparation, assembly, and handling of flights.
• Ensure a 'FOLLOW ME' escort accompanies the vehicle when flights are loaded at Air Force Base.
• Comply with regulations of Airport Authorities, Customs, and Security, reporting any deviations immediately.
• Understand the hazardous nature of the job and follow all related procedures completely.
• Adhere to Cybersecurity policies and procedures, dealing with data according to classification levels.
• Avoid violating intellectual property rights and comply with Cybersecurity requirements for user devices, internet, software, systems, and email.
• Adhere to acceptable use policy for company information and technical assets, using them only for business purposes.
• Obtain required permits for hosting visitors in sensitive company sites and report Cybersecurity incidents.

Vehicle Management and Coordination

• Maintain a neat, clean, and tidy Hi-loader at all times.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of driving and operating systems for all types of catering vehicles.
• Ensure the loader attached understands marshalling/de-marshalling procedures.
• Bear responsibility for training other Loaders.
• Report any vehicle accident or incident to the Chief Driver immediately.
• Maintain the Driver’s Movement Report.
• Coordinate with the Transport and Chief Driver regarding changes in schedule and aircraft.
• Keep the Supervisor informed regarding flight statuses.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School, Secondary, or Vocational School graduate.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar position within catering operations preparation.
• Valid light or heavy professional driver’s license.
• Valid Ramp pass.
• Comprehensive knowledge of radio communication procedures.
• Ability to report on duty on roster timings and in proper uniform.
