About the Role
Catrion Group is seeking a Supervisor, B&I and Remote Sites, to join their team in the Eastern Province, covering cities such as Al Jubail, Al Khobar, Dammam, Al Qatif, Al Hafuf, Hafar Al Batin, and Al-Ahsa. This permanent position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves overseeing site and team support, ensuring compliance with company systems, and contributing to team development and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the direct manager to ensure comprehensive support for the site and team.
- Ensure junior team members comply with CATRION systems and processes.
- Assist in training junior team members in the CATRION quality system, ensuring understanding and consistent service delivery through toolbox talks and in-post training.
- Support employee evaluations and appraisals, including the development of improvement plans.
- Conduct regular area reviews to ensure performance standards are met and foster opportunities for employee promotions.
- Comply with all appropriate QHSE requirements.
- Manage food, labor, and overhead costs to deliver budgeted profit.
- Cultivate client relationships through regular interaction, resolving issues efficiently without compromising profitability.
- Attract and retain an experienced management team and workforce to minimize staff turnover.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with the CATRION Quality Assurance Program.
- Report any store shortages or required products to the team leader.
- Manage all camp/site administration.
- Assist the team leader in adhering to budgets for labor, food, cleaning materials, utensils, and other miscellaneous costs.
- Provide daily reporting to own/client maintenance on technical support for preventive maintenance.
- Present a positive image of CATRION to clients and customers.
- Implement quality monitoring systems to measure customer satisfaction, client, and contract compliance.
- Accompany the team leader in representing the company in regular on-site client meetings, if requested.
- Train all site staff in the CATRION quality system and ensure staff induction aligns with CATRION policies.
- Manage effective training and development for all team members, identifying any gaps to the direct line manager.
- Lead and communicate effectively to maintain high staff motivation levels.
- Assist in employee grievance management and disciplinary investigations.
- Ensure daily material issuing is in line with unit budgets and conduct efficient Daily Walk Throughs.
Team Leadership and Development
This role involves significant responsibility for guiding, supporting, monitoring, evaluating, and training staff. The supervisor will organize and plan work continuity, monitor and maintain conduct and performance levels, and ensure safety and good work practices. Responsibilities also include monitoring staffing levels, deploying staff effectively, and delivering training and coaching as required. The supervisor will ensure all direct reports undertake appropriate hygiene and safety training and are competent to the required level, assisting in formal disciplinary/grievance interviews when necessary.
Decision-Making and Continuous Improvement
The Supervisor will participate in periodical inspections, contributing to the identification and implementation of improvements. This includes taking personal responsibility for closing identified development gaps and future requirements, ensuring personal competencies are known, understood, adhered to, and updated. The role also requires ensuring personal working hygiene standards meet both company and statutory requirements, actively participating in all training, and contributing fully as part of both the company and unit team to meet objectives and provide excellent service.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance programs and QHSE requirements.
- Experience in budget management, including food, labor, and overhead costs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Work Location
This permanent position is based in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, with operations across Al Jubail, Al Khobar, Dammam, Al Qatif, Al Hafuf, Hafar Al Batin, and Al-Ahsa.
