Role Overview

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality company, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join the pre-opening Engineering team at the new Four Seasons Resort Red Sea. This full-time position is located in Saudi Arabia, serving the areas between Umluj and Al Wajh. The role specifically focuses on the Golf Villas and Resort Residences within the property, situated on Shura Island.

The Four Seasons Red Sea Destination

The Red Sea destination is being developed with a core commitment to sustainable practices, relying on renewable energy across its 200 km coastline. The Four Seasons Resort Red Sea on Shura Island will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, multiple dining and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, a full-service spa, tennis courts, and three outdoor pools. This role is essential in ensuring optimal comfort and air quality for residents and guests within the resort's residential and support areas.

Primary Responsibilities

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across the Golf Villas and Resort Residences. Key responsibilities include:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems within Golf Villas and Resort Residences.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, and cooling systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system faults, ensuring timely repairs.
• Monitor system performance to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality levels.
• Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Support the maintenance of chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), split units, and central plant systems.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
• Coordinate with Engineering team members for planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of HVAC experience, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end residential environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC issues effectively.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
