The Role of Financial Accountant

Black Sip Coffee Roasters is seeking a Financial Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Bishah, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial statements and records in accordance with applicable standards and internal policies. The Financial Accountant will support financial operations, reporting, and compliance within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and post daily financial transactions and journal entries accurately into the system.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), including supervising invoices, collections, and vendor payments.
• Prepare, review, and perform periodic bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports and statements, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure correct accounting treatment.
• Review employee advances, petty cash, and expense claims, and perform necessary balance reconciliations for both customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring the accuracy of all related financial data.
• Monitor tax obligations and prepare all required tax documents and regulatory reports.
• Assist in the preparation of company budgets and financial forecasts.
• Maintain, organize, and archive accounting records and supporting documents, coordinating with management and external auditors during audits.
• Ensure full compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.

Daily Operations and Support

Day-to-day tasks include recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and managing payables and receivables. The role supports month-end and year-end closing activities, prepares regular financial reports, and assists with budgeting and forecasting. The Financial Accountant will also provide analytical insights to support decision-making and cost control, work with accounting software, and collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Compliance and Auditing

This position involves supporting audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Financial Accountant will maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents, coordinating directly with management and external auditors as needed.
