About the Role

Al Watania Information Systems (Wisys) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its finance team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial analysis to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with established accounting principles.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and tracking payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits as required.
• Provide support for management reporting and financial analysis.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
