Job Description

About the Role

Gold and Minerals Ltd is seeking a Project Geologist to join their team in Bishah, 'Asir. This full-time role involves working closely with the senior geologist to manage and oversee all geological activities at the project site, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, innovatively, and on schedule. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the technical services team on exploration drilling programs, including technical reviews of mineral properties, monitoring drilling progress, core logging, and up-to-date plotting and interpretation of drill sections.
Implement and monitor relevant workflows and procedures, such as Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
Contribute to comprehensive exploration targets and plans, which includes compiling historical data, managing and analyzing site databases, conducting surface sampling and mapping, and reviewing historical cores.
Assist with technical aspects of company projects, including QA/QC for exploration activities, exploration program planning, supervision, implementation, resource modelling and engineering, due diligence and data auditing, and economic assessments.
Contribute to the geological interpretation of structural information and deposits through data compilation, integration, and 3D modelling.
Manage standards and procedures for data generation and analysis.
Prepare scheduled drilling reports and other required reports to highlight key progress.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of a * in Geology is required.
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant geological role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the project site in Bishah, 'Asir, where the Project Geologist will be an integral part of the geological team, working under the guidance of a senior geologist.
